First of all, from the rated current through, the rated current of dense buses can reach 5000A, while the air buses are relatively less; dense buses heat directly through the shell as a whole, with high heat dissipation efficiency and low temperature rise. Air-type busbar convects the air of busbar slot with the outside through the ventilation holes on the shell, which brings out the heat generated by busbar. The heat dissipation efficiency is lower and the heating rate is higher.
Secondly, from the point of view of anti-environmental pollution, dense busbar has strong anti-environmental pollution. It can eliminate dust and some impurities. It can also be used in severe polluted working environment, with little impact. But the anti-pollution ability of air bus is much worse than that of air bus. It should not be used where the pollution is serious. Because the dust and particles from outside will enter through the heat sink, the bus will be polluted inside.
Finally, from the point of view of resistance, the resistance of dense busbar is smaller. Because of its good heat dissipation function and low temperature rise, the voltage drop and loss of the line are smaller. The resistance of the air bus is larger, which is also related to its heat dissipation. It rises in temperature. Usually the higher the temperature, the greater the resistance.
